In addition to customary hiring for open positions, Dennis’ staffing experience spans large scale hiring initiatives for start-up operations (his largest campaign resulted in the hiring of over 125 technology professionals) to downsizing businesses with staffing redundancies. Dennis’ experience in managing successful staffing transactions ranges from Main Street, USA to third-world countries, union shops to non-union environments, permanent to temporary employment, and experienced hiring to summer intern recruiting.
Dennis is also active in campus recruiting, is invited regularly to address university clubs and associations on career planning, has served on executive career strategy panels at universities, and has published recruiting articles for university interns and graduating seniors.
Throughout his career, Dennis has helped countless colleagues gain employment by coaching them in resume writing and interviewing techniques, and introducing them to valuable networking contacts, many of which led to interviews and ultimate employment.
Though he has been offered many recruiting positions in his career, Dennis preferred to carry out these functions as an adjunct practice through the eyes of the actual hiring manager, believing that this allowed him to make more informed staffing decisions for his own organization’s needs as well as for the candidates.
At the urging of colleagues, Dennis launched KareerKit as a means of sharing career advice freely with a wider audience at this critical time in the global economy, while at the same time creating a forum for others to do the same.
